Artist's Comments
Yay, one of my last art projects for school. Im so happy I finished. I didnt think I would. But with an extended due date, I was able to finish. Hoorah for that.
Comment: Soooo Im very happy with this. Its one of my favorites that Ive done so far. We were able to do anything we wanted this time, any medium, any idea. That was so sweet. After playing Seven Deadly Sins, I thought it would be a neat theme for my portfolio. So this is a start to that. This ones vanity, as if you cant tell by the title and picture. I was inspired by this drawing [link] and I fell in love with it so much I wanted to draw it. I know its not my original artwork, and that does bug me because I dont want to steal her lovely artwork, but I wanted to draw it so bad. Her hair isnt the best, theres something about it that bugs me. The fence was so hard, I got so angry at it. Her hand thats holding the mirror, ehhh I dont like that arm at all. I had to make that part up since I changed how her hand was, and I just dont like that part of it at all. I was going to use some colored pencil, just purple in some areas, but I decided not to. This still needs work on it, like in the background, the horizon line, and the clouds and the ledge that shes standing on, but Im done for now. I cant stand to work on it anymore. Time taken: 20 + hours Medium used: 9B-H graphite pencils, assortment of blending sticks and kneaded eraser. Credit to |
